On December 1, 2017, Nordcurrent was partnered with Coca-Cola to release an update where players can sell official Coca-Cola beverages in-game.[2] As of December 4, 2018, all references to Coca-Cola were removed.

On December 4, 2019, the clients were all modified with more animated motion.

Gameplay[edit]

Cooking Fever currently has three different modes to play; the first screen is City which has 11 restaurants, second mode is Paradise Island which currently has 9 restaurants and finally, the third mode is Alpine Mountains which currently has 10 restaurants. The Fast Food Court is available when you start the game and other restaurants will be available as you go on increasing the levels, which are known as XP. Each restaurant has 40 levels to play and a minimum score is needed to pass and get promoted to the next level. In-app purchases are also available; if the player so chooses, they can spend real money to get extra coins and gems instead of earning them during the game. In 2018 noodlearcade started their global cooking fever championship tournament. 150,000 applicants had the chance to participate a custom cooking fever contest to take the title of world champion. No other world tournaments have scheduled.[3]

There is also a Casino in the City mode, in which you can win money or diamonds by spinning. You can buy a spin for 100 or 500 coins. It was including a button to use 200 coins for a spin, but is replaced with a button to watch an ad for a free spin in 2020.
